Zip tie

Zip ties, also known as utility ties, are plastic ties designed to close a loop securely. They are used to hold things together and are also used as restraints.

History[]

On P3X-888 in 2000, after realizing the planet's waters were teeming with symbiotes, Teal'c had those with him relinquish their weapons and had Colonel Jack O'Neill restrain them with zip ties and then he did the same to him, as, with the exception of Teal'c himself, any of them could have been taken as a Goa'uld host. (SG1: "The First Ones")

In 2006, Galarans used a zip tie to arrest Colonel Cameron Mitchell for the murder of Dr. Reya Varrick. (SG1: "Collateral Damage")
