A Wraith spear gun is a stunner used by the Wraith. The weapon releases the same neuron impeding energy blast that the other Wraith stunners employ. The weapon is much slimmer than the Wraith stunner rifle, and seems to be more suited to melee combat. The Wraith spear gun appears to have replaced the Wraith rifle as Wraith warriors' primary weapon, although they have been seen using both. (SGA: "The Lost Boys", "Michael", "Allies", "Sateda")
Behind the Scenes[]
The gun has similarities to the one used by the natives in the SG-1 Season 3 episode, "New Ground". This could possibly be attributed to the recycling of old props into the show.
