Wraith clothing, refers to the wardrobe of the Wraith, such as coats and jewelry.
Overview[]
Displaying Status[]

The embroidery and emboss on Wraith clothing can display the status of an individual.
- The silk dress shirt of a Master of Sciences Physical contains deep bands of embroidery at the neck and sleeves in a circuit board pattern. This embroidery is used to signify their position as chief physical scientist of the hive.[1] (SGA: "The Lost")
- When Dr. Rodney McKay was the Master of Sciences Physical to Queen Death as Quicksilver, he wore a dark blue, midnight colored silk dress shirt and the circuit board pattern was colored black on blue.[1] (SGA: "The Lost")
- Ember, a Master of Sciences Biological,[2] had dark blue silks that were embroidered in copper with the pattern of whirling atomic partials.[3] (SGA: "Legacy: Allegiance", "The Furies")
- Blaze, the Consort of Queen Moonwhite, wore a finely worked leather coat that had an embossed pattern of stars and moons above a bed of flames, which flaunted his status. (SGA: "Lost Queen")
- Guide's best coat was of an antique style, which pointed to his age and experience. It had tiny black gems at its cuffs and helm and had matching embroidery that wove delicate texture into the leather. (SGA: "Legacy: Homecoming")
Wraith coats[]
Wraith wear coats of varying length, such as to the ankles, knee length and above.
Blades, (wraith warriors), wear coats made of leather.[4] (SGA: "The Lost", "Legacy: Allegiance")
Clevermen, (wraith scientists), wear coats made of silk. They're quilted and trimmed with embroidered facings, which are black on black.[4] This isn't to say Clevermen wouldn't wear leather coats though, as seen by Ember, who would wear both types. (SGA: "Midway", "Legacy: Homecoming", "The Lost")
Accessories[]
- Main article: Wraith finger cot
Wraith have been seen wearing rings and finger cots. There is also a pendant that functions as an alarm. (SGA: "Rising", "The Queen")
Notes[]
- In Joseph Mallozzi's weblog in an entry on October 4th, 2008, the leather used in Wraith coats was revealed to be made out of humans. He had answered the question of where the leather came from with: "Let's just say that no part of the human is wasted."[5]
