He threatened to cull a village on Elson's planet within the Pegasus galaxy in 2008 unless they turned a group of Hoffan drug-infected Balarians over to him. He took Dr. Carson Beckett and Dr. Rodney McKay to his Hive Ship in order to finish the work of one his scientists so the Wraith could detect survivors of the Hoffan drug. He was killed when Beckett tricked him into feeding on him. Beckett had learned, through the now finished research, that Michael had injected him with the drug as a defense against the Wraith and when the Commander fed on him, the drug killed the Commander and allowed Beckett and McKay to escape.
