Several months later, after a foreign body was discovered attached to the heart of Cassandra, the sole survivor of Hanka, he performed exploratory surgery on her and was able to scrape some samples of the device for biopsy. 1998[]
When the Neraida that impersonated the Spirit guides of the inhabitants of PXY-887 infiltrated Stargate Command, he was one of the many personnel to disappear by their power. One of the aliens, Xe'ls, impersonated him until it was discovered by SG-1 and shot with a Zat'nik'tel. (SG1: "Spirits")
