Westerholm is a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force stationed at Stargate Command. Her post is as a technician in the Stargate Operations room, responsible for the activities there.

She assisted Captain Samantha Carter and Dr. Janet Fraiser in stopping Hathor from gaining control of Stargate Command when all the men on the base were affected by Hathor's mysterious pink mist. (SG1: "Hathor")
1998[]
She was assigned to guard the Tollan but was unable to stop them from escaping to the Stargate because they used their phase devices to walk through her. (SG1: "Enigma")
1999[]
She was in the Stargate Operations room and took the call from the infirmary and she gave the phone to Major General George S. Hammond. (SG1: "In the Line of Duty")
When Dr. Samantha Carter and Major Charles Kawalsky arrived in our reality through the Quantum Mirror, she escorted Carter to her quarters and later brought her a meal. (SG1: "Point of View")
During a foothold situation at Stargate Command, she was posted in the surveillance station and was shot with a Zat'nik'tel by Major Samantha Carter and Teal'c. (SG1: "Foothold")
2000[]
She stood outside Nicholas Ballard's guest room and took him to Major General George S. Hammond when he needed to talk to him. (SG1: "Crystal Skull")
She was stationed at a guard table with another SF Guard on Level 25, when SG-1 sped past them at super speed, blowing the papers off their table. (SG1: "Upgrades")
2002[]
She received a call from Colonel Jack O'Neill and she went to the Briefing Room to tell Major Samantha Carter that O'Neill was on the phone while also stating to Carter that the phone call was urgent. (SG1: "48 Hours")
She was again posted in the surveillance station and monitored Reese. When the surveillance camera went down, she informed the guard. (SG1: "Menace")
