Viking is a historical term used to refer to a group of Tau'ri from Scandinavia. In the past, the Asgard carried some Vikings to other planets to protect them from Goa'uld. Due to this, the descendants of the Vikings are found on various planets. Examples of this include the Svoriin and Cimmerian.
