Major General Henry Landry participated in the Vietnam war and crash landed his plane. Other military personnel also served in Vietnam, including Major General George S. Hammond, Major General W. O. West, and Colonel Jack O'Neill. In 2001, a Homeless man claimed to O'Neill that he went to Vietnam for a vacation once.
