He was healed of his disability by a Prior in 2005 but was infected with the Ori plague shortly afterwards. He was cured by Vala Mal Doran with a Goa'uld healing device for a short time but was reinfected. He pleaded with the Prior to save his village and was cured. (SG1: "The Powers That Be")
