Unnamed planet (In Ruins) is a planet in the Milky Way galaxy that has a Stargate and an Ancient base. It has a sun and two moons.
Overview[]
The planet is barren and has a red-hued sand environment. It has a few architectural remains mostly buried beneath the sand. There is an Ancient base accessible by a cave. The base is protected by a force shield that repels machines. The base also has riddles and puzzles that must be solved if people want to prove themselves worthy of accessing the laboratories.
The base's Ancient seismic controller is said to be using the "planet's energy", although the exact wording was noted to possibly be lost in translation. It's also linked to three other bases on other planets.
History[]
Thousands of years ago, Tomb raider probes were dropped from orbit onto the planet to strip its Ancient technology. When the base was infiltrated, the Ancient's security measures activated and the probes inside were destroyed. Those outside were blocked by a force shield and have since been exploring the barren planet for other Ancient technology.
At some point, a Tok'ra agent crash-landed on the planet while fleeing the System Lord Hu. Before being rescued, the agent determined that there was no sentient life on the planet.
In 2003, Phoenix Site sent a team to the planet to try to find replacement Control crystals that would work with the Ancient seismic controller on Phoenix planet. (RPG: "In Ruins")
