2009[]
In 2009, Janus and the Unknown Aliens gave his people help in securing them against the Wraith by upgrading their town to Lantean tech level and also gave them a zero point energy reactor, with seemingly no strings attached.
When Colonel John Sheppard and his team showed up to give his people a naquadah generator that they promised, he told them that they didn't need their help anymore because they had a better offer. He then showed them Janus' improvements to their town. Sheppard tried to warn him and his friend that Janus couldn't be trusted. However, he grew angry and defended Janus, as they only had their word and no evidence to support their claims, as well as the fact that Janus had given them the technology freely unlike the Atlantis expedition. He was also mad that Sheppard, Ronon Dex and Teyla Emmagan had drawn weapons on their guest. As such, he told them to either leave or surrender to his people's Constable. Ronon told him that wasn't going to happen, but Sheppard agreed to leave. (SGA: "Hearts & Minds 1")
Later, when the Elder decided to believe the Atlantis expedition and decline Janus' help, he disapproved. He knew the Wraith were fractured but he was still worried that they could return. While Janus left, his friend told him that they could start making plans for the future.
After their talk, Janus destroyed their planet by releasing uncontrolled zero point energy from their new reactor. (SGA: "Hearts & Minds 2")
