This unnamed galaxy several billion light years from Earth is the third galaxy encountered by the Destiny expedition since their arrival on the Ancient spacecraft Destiny. The journey from the previous galaxy to this one will take three years, during which time the expedition will be in stasis pods, having programmed Destiny to skip two thirds of the last galaxy in order to avoid its destruction at the hands of berzerker drones.
