Unas Elder was the leader of Chaka's tribe on P3X-888.
Biography[]

He sent Chaka to complete his rite of passage and was not pleased when Chaka wanted his prey, Dr. Daniel Jackson, to live. He believed this is an outrage because Chaka failed the rite. He has the other tribe members quickly emerge, just in time to meet with the other members of SG-1. Even though Jackson tells Colonel Jack O'Neill not to shoot, they were forced to shoot at the Elder when he charged at Jackson, but to no avail. He is finally killed by Chaka in self-defense for protecting Jackson. As a result, Chaka became the new Unas leader. (SG1: "The First Ones")
