Thoth was a Human under the service of Hathor.
Thoth served as leader of caste of administrative mass of Ra's small empire, handling the logistics and presumable day-to-day running of the polity . The warrior caste especially the Horus guards, who oversaw the slaves and lesser warriors known as Ramses guards, the present day warriors, who had no experience with large scale operations, dismissed them as mere bean counters. Hathor appreciated them as she was from an earlier time and veteran of mass warfare.

Thoth activates his headgear
Thoth wore the mask of a Horus Guard who was in search of a Mastaba (which was a type of tomb) on a moon in the Kaliam galaxy. He was also aligned with the crocodile god known as Sabek.
Thoth arrived to an Unnamed moon, and found a huge chamber containing a Mastaba. He opened the Mastaba awakening the long-time godling Hathor. (Stargate: Rebellion 1)
