Thetys is a female Argosian from the planet Argos. She is married to Alekos and mother of Dan-el.

When SG-1 traveled to Argos, she was in the Temple of Pelops, with her husband Alekos, and was about to give birth. Alekos asked them for help and Dr. Daniel Jackson delivered the baby. She then named her son Dan-el in honor of Daniel Jackson. (SG1: "Brief Candle")
