The Thermal grenade was a form of explosive device used by an unknown Alien race in the Pegasus galaxy of an alternate reality.
Overview[]
When activated, an amber light blinked on and off at the tip of the grenade whilst the grenade itself issued a series of beeps. Shortly after this was activated, the grenade exploded and issued green light.
At least one of the unknown Aliens who managed to board the Daedalus while it was jumping through realities had one of these devices and, after being shot by the First Atlantis Reconnaissance Team, he activated it. The device soon exploded, cutting Sheppard and his team off from the Daedalus' hanger bay and their Puddle Jumper. (SGA: "The Daedalus Variations")
