"This is not magical power. It is called a gun, and it is a machine."
Daniel Jackson[src]

The Taurus PT92 is a semi-automatic pistol produced on Earth, and primarily used as the standard sidearm for Stargate Command personnel in 1997 before switching to the M9 pistol in 1998.

History

An airmen was seen carrying the pistol against the invading Goa'uld sent by Apophis. The pistol was later seen in the hands of Daniel Jackson, Samantha Carter and Jonas Hanson. The pistol was shown by Jackson to the people of Avnil; explaining that Jonas was not a divine being and that he wasn't utilizing magic. (SG1: "The First Commandment")
