Talus is a planet in the Pegasus galaxy. The planet once belonged to the Lanteans. Ronon Dex suggested Talus to the Atlantis expedition and Jeannie Miller as a way to help Dr. Rodney McKay when he was stricken with the Second Childhood. Located on the world is a shrine, where a person afflicted with "Second Childhood" can be him or herself for a day, before they die. The planet is currently under the control of the Wraith. It is one of their largest strongholds and is guarded by 10,000 Wraith and two Hive Ships. It has been a stronghold since the Asuran-Tau'ri-Wraith war. (SGA: "The Shrine")
