I suggests we merge this article with the Cruiser page, if it's really a cruiser then it belongs there.—Swedish Guy 09:55, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

I disagree. In Critical Mass, Sheppard may have just misspoken by saying it was a Cruiser (like in Remnants when Rodney said Daedalus instead of Apollo). And regular cruisers don't act as supply ships... or maybe they do... there are just too many unknowns.—Anubis 10545 18:35, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Seeing as the siege of atlantis was a rather long one, I had always assumed it was a cruiser that was retrofitted for supply duties, seeing as is was not necessary for wraith to keep even there most minor combat ships constantly deployed during the siege, and to keep such a large number of hives supplied for a long time, they needed something bigger than just the standard cargo ship. 99.141.200.51 03:22, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

using a hive ship wouldve been more practical —Asdf1239 (talk) (Contribs) 03:27, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

But the hive ship is the center of a wraith hive's administation and hierarchy, so for a hive ship to withdraw, then that would mean that that entire hive had effectively pulled out of the siege, which would not be beneficial for their political standing amongst the other hives. 99.135.151.0 00:40, February 19, 2010 (UTC)

if they needed more food, they could send out individual hives on culling missions to bring back cocooned humans. if the siege lasted long enough the hives could take turns going out and getting more supplies, so nobody would feel left out of the siege. —{{User:Asdf1239/autosig}} (talk) (Contribs) 02:01, February 19, 2010 (UTC)

Actually, I'd have to say I doubt it's likely at all that it's a Wraith Cruiser due to the fact that the cruisers are grown in a specific way. It would be akin to making major alterations in a human body. While it could be done, it would take it out of commission for a long time, and after the siege would be a hassle.
