I think its 250 meters because they also messed up the sizes for the X-302, basically the F-302, and Death Glider, both of which are said to be quite large. The one for the F-302 says it is 70 meters wide and, if that's the case, it would mean that even one would barely fit into a Daedalus class ship much less 8! Yeah, that's really, really off. 2500 meters is roughly 275 football fields long... I don't recall the F-302 page ever saying it had that a 70 meter width, it did say it had a 25 meter width at one point, and that sounds reasonable but I don't think it was ever confirmed. But if the X-302 has a wingspan of 75 meters (82 yards, 250ft), then I'm the Queen of England. (I'm not, but I hear she's an SG fan)

Actually, you have a point, the whole "cannon" thing. In other cases where the info provided from the DVD magazines clearly contradicts the show (like the location of the bridge on a 304) we've gone with the show. In several episodes (most notably Search and Rescue) we've clearly seen Wraith cruisers to be comparable in side to the 225 meter Daedalus. SO, I say what the heck, lets drop the extra zero. The only problem with that is (other than Jaymach... no offense) we don't actually have a size we can put in place of the 2,500. As that is the case, 250 is just an arbitrary number. So, we would have to leave the size section blank as the size clearly isn't 2,500 meters long, which was shown in the show, which supersedes the magazines.—Anubis 10545 01:42, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

More Measurement stuff

If you notice, we have the size for Anubis' mothership as only 2000 meters. So, apparently a Wraith Cruiser is 500 meters longer than Anubis' "Super Massive" mothership. If you notice in the episode Condemned, the cruiser that descends upon Olesia takes up far less sky than does Anubis' mothership in Homecoming. I mean, I largely support these sources (well...) Yes, the show is higher in the order of cannon than whatever source you got the measurements from. So if the source contradicts the show (which it seems to) then it should be changed on the wiki. Sman789 ^{(talk) (Contribs)} 23:12, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

This may mean that wraith ships are possibly based on old lantean configurations (its where they get all of their flight experience from), we have seen that the cruiser design is a relatively old one, as we have seen from The Defiant One. If this is true, then this may mean that Proto-Auroras and other pre-pegasus ships were once based on the chevron shaped design.--99.141.180.130 21:01, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

"Birth"

Where exactly are these these things Born/Constructed. seeing as the wraith go through quite a few of these things, I was wondering if they are built replacements on a hive ship, but the tech manuals don't seem to show any places big enough. I also think it is highly unlikely they build them on planets because wraith are largely nomadic and it is counterintuitive to be constantly separated from your source of escorts.--99.141.180.130 20:56, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

crew??

it has a crew of 3 and 50 passengers? this seems kind of unlikely to me given that the daedalus is about the same size and has about "a couple hundred" people and the cruiser could conceivably be used to cull areas of planets which would bring many more than 50 people... what does this come from?? —ASDF1239 ^DISCUSSION 02:58, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

This kind of fits two things about the wraith, one, in Condemned, the ship really wasnt that big, it was fairly small, as far as the capital ships go in Stargate. Also, this does fit the idea that the wraith want to be able to have as few as possible feeding as possible, since their population has need of lots of humans, and often a shortage, they want to have as few active wraith as possible, less they have to feed. Their ships may largely take care of themselves, being alive, like having an automated ship that takes care of itself.74.129.66.59 19:22, May 15, 2010 (UTC)
