Has anyone but me noticed how this character has an extremely annoying fetish with water? She slurps, gulps, and god know what else in the most annoying manner I've ever heard. I want to find the writers who decided to write her like so, and subject them to a torture of equal magnitude of the one they've made me sit through. And I haven't even gotten to when she becomes a member of SG-1 (god help me then)!72.222.249.183 14:32, April 4, 2010 (UTC)

I didn't noticed that... 94.75.220.77 23:28, April 7, 2010 (UTC)

The way she drinks water is more than made up for in the comedy that she createsBlueSquadron (talk) (Contribs) 20:11, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Age

In Continuum, Qetesh remarks about how Ba'al has not let her leave his side in the last 50 years. That would indicate that Vala is at least over 50 years old. We can be certain that Qetetsh would have used the sarcophagus to keep her and by extension her host young as long as possible. i just thought it might be worth mentioning. --D Toccs (talk) (Contribs) 10:51, August 8, 2010 (UTC)

i was thinking thats an error, as we saw valas father and he sure wasnt 70-80 years old (50 plus an average age of 20-30). she was only the host to qetesh for 7 years or so (i think). however she may have taken vala as a host at request of baal aa few years ago. I think I know why. In Continuum, it's a different reality. Who knows how far back Ba'al went. 50+ years does make sense. He needed to assemble a fleet. He needed to get warriors and bring the other goa'uld to their knees. And only then did Ba'al go to Earth. He might have gotten Qetesh into Vala and then married her or something 50+ years ago. --SupremeCommander (talk) (Contribs) 18:11, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
