When was it said that the Furlings built it?[]

When was it said that the Furlings built it? Sman789 21:41, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

It is stated in Stargate SG-1: Friends and Foes: Stargate Season Two. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 03:23, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
Because this is only mentioned in the RPG, this is considered non-canonical correct? Therefore to be left out of the article and categories? --Jenkins08 (talk) (Contribs) 05:19, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
I don't see a problem, as long as the source is named (which it is). Banaticus (talk) (Contribs) 01:36, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Wouldn't the permanent iris weld perhaps cause a traveller's death?[]

Wouldn't the permanent iris weld perhaps cause a traveller's death? If a person was travelling through the gate while someone was shooting the gate, wouldn't that overload the gate and send them to the second gate, which would then kill them when the weld over the second gate wouldn't let them reintegrate? Banaticus (talk) (Contribs) 01:48, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

The Iris in the SGC doesnt sit inside where the wormhole would form, instead it sits just in front of the event horizon. The permanent weld actually sits inside where the wormhole would be, so the gate does not allow anyone to connect to it if their is an object literally inside the Stargate of suficient mass.74.129.75.153 15:36, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

And the traveller going through the stargate will be stored on the "gate's energy pattern buffer" ElChristo (talk) (Contribs) 17:18, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
