But how does that work, @thurgood42? They can't sense the presence of the symbiote within a specific individual? Only that there're symbiotes in the vicinity?

They can sense the Naquadah in the symbiote but that's it. They can't tell if the symbiote is implanted in a host of just in a Jaffa's pouch. Thurgood42 (talk) (Contribs) 12:30, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

Since we're on the topic of goofs:
I think the item I added to (that comments on the mistakes K'tano/Imhotep made about which Goa'ulds were killed by the Tau'ri) should be moved from the Goofs section to the Notes section. This isn't necessarily a goof on the writers' part, as K'tano/Imhotep could simply not now the details of the stories and be commenting based on fame alone.
