I'm watching "The Ark" this morning and have just seen the bit where Herick sat at the controls of the shuttle. It seemed to me that the alleged Snickers bar on the control panel was merely a prop that resembled a Snickers wrapper. Can anybody with the DVD check this out? PKT (talk) (Contribs) 13:25, June 9, 2011 (UTC)No, it is a Snickers bar wrapper, a bottle of water, and a package of some sort. Perhaps a packet of Oreos, if you ask me.
Most likely it's an oreo package but just to be safe in the gooofs section I wrote 'an package of some sort'
Herick's suicide Edit
Why would he open all the airlocks before blasting open the main airlock out into space? Sure he wanted to kill himself fine but why would he risk the rest of his civilization by doing such a dangerous move? The firing of the shuttle engines altered the orbit of the moon and if the Atlantis team was not there then it would have re-entered and either burned up or crashed killing everyone else.
His wife was dead and he was a little crazy. He wanted to kill himself and take the Atlantis team with him because they "revived" him and thus he learned that him wife wasn't saved. He didn't care about his people just about his wife.Portalier (talk) (Contribs) 05:39, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
The Zoidberg Edit
I am sure it was unintentional, but shortly after Lorne's Atlantis Reconnaissance Team comes through the gate to assist our heroes, Jamus asks if these are her friends. Tesla replies:
"Yes. And Dr. Beckett as well."
Does Teyla not like Dr. Beckett? This implies that Teyla doesn't like him, and I couldn't help but laugh, thinking she despised him for no reason. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that she doesn't talk to Beckett as much as the other characters; and the only moment that they had a real one-on-one, from memory, was when Beckett offered to give her old friend a pacemaker. He was also the one that discovered her wraith genes. I'm just having a bit of fun here, I don't actual believe it, but if you so chose it could be an alternative character interpretation.Kelnius @ http://absurdwordnerd.blogspot.com.au (talk) (Contribs) 10:57, September 26, 2013 (UTC)
Also, am I the only one that thoughtit was weird early in the episode just after the breach. When Mitchell is trying to close the hatch, the special effects (as well as the actors) are implying that the air is blowing towards them. If it was venting behind them, then closing the door wouldn't help, so shouldn't the air have been blowing through the door?Kelnius @ http://absurdwordnerd.blogspot.com.au (talk) (Contribs) 10:57, September 26, 2013 (UTC)
