In the Phoenecian pantheon of gods and goddesses, Tanith is actually a Punic goddess of Carthage, queen to Ba'al Hammon, and the equivelant of the moon goddess Astarte.  So wouldn't that then mean that the symbiote Tanith should be a female personality, even though the host is male?  There have been other occasions when the symbiote's and host's genders didn't match, as in the case of Osiris taking Sarah Gardner as a host, Ba'al taking Adria as a host, and Jolinar taking Quinta as a host, so it's not unheard of. Chitarra10 (talk) (Contribs) 08:43, April 15, 2013 (UTC)Chitarra10

Isn't Tanith a female symbiote?
