Although it's easy to forget that Telford is occupying Rush's body when they show switching the way they do (which I never liked), when you remember that, it seems almost unbelievable that he manages to overcome Young in a fight. A guy like Telford, used to being a big strong guy, would probably be more helpless in Rush's body than Rush himself, who is used to it and can overcome someone using his wits. It could be explained as adrenaline rush, but still seems unlikely. [[Special:Contributions/78.60.187.5|78.60.187.5]] 12:39, February 5, 2015 (UTC)

Its About Time

Im glad to finally see some mention of how earth freed billions of people without any plans to help them build civilisations of their own ,also the way earth seems to assume rightful ownership over valuable technology like on atlantis i think the Genii were completley justified in wanting control of atlantis and they should have had shared ownership.92.0.223.175 17:30, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

But the Genii are evil... Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 18:25, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
Pfft, Telford was blowing it out of proportion. Most of those places were self-sufficient and just oppressed. The Lucian Alliance was just opportunistic. The Genii likewise had no claim to Atlantis. They couldn't get to it, so they didn't deserve it, nor would they have used it to the good of the galaxy once they did. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 18:54, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

What do you know? An episode of SGU that actually was really good

This one was way more better than the rest of this bloody series, actually as good as a good SG-1 episode. I were really suprised when i saw it.
And oh yeah? What hapened to the inventions to fight the goa'uld? Ma'chello (talk) (Contribs) 22:03, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

What inventions, exactly, do you think they should have used here? — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 23:36, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
Well... Perhaps the ones with which they do things... Like fighting the Goa'uld. Yes! Inventions to fight the Goa'uld! (talk) (Contribs) 18:51, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
I was sort of surprised that they didn't use Atlantis' sensors to track the cargo ship. It can see wraith cruisers weeks away so surely it can detect the hyperspace window of a Tel'tak... Oh, and all Universe episodes are better than SG1 - apart from maybe Air part 3. Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 19:01, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure sensors work this way (I mean track departing, not approaching ship and find their destination). And probably, Atlantis left Earth and returned to Pegasus, but they didn't shot film about it yet :) --Глючарина (talk) (Contribs) 19:06, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
Mr. Sman789, if you truly think so, then I would never feast together with you. //Ma'chello (talk) (Contribs) 20:58, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
Assuming Atlantis is on Earth, that would have worked for a while, but eventually the cargo ship would pass out of range, since unlike Wraith ships, it doesn't have to stop. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:48, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
I meant more that it would detect the cargo ship when it entered the star system, allowing a drone to be fired at it or the 304 to investigate, as it could be seen approaching so a drone could just be waiting there. Even if it wasn't seen approaching, it could definitely detect the window forming so it shouldn't be such a surprise that it just decloaked right there. Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 23:03, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
Cargo ship is much smaller then hive --Глючарина (talk) (Contribs) 05:34, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
2 things about that - Firstly a cargo ship's opening hyperspace exit window would give off some detectable energy, and sencond, the percieved size of the cargo ship just a few miles into the sky would be much larger than a hive ship light-years away. "all Universe episodes are better than SG1"
―Sman789
i usually try not to insult people over their opinion but this is the closest i've gotten for a while ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 11:01, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Well to be fair SG1 was totally different to Universe so it's not really fair for me to compare them like that; but Universe has much more purpose and it's much more clever, and I always find myself more eager to watch the next universe episode than I did the next SG1. While SG1 just had standalone episodes, minus five or six out of twenty which did contribute somewhat to the plot, Universe is one big story, with every episode contributing to events and having reprocussions in future episodes. And you have to admit also that SG1 and Atlantis were silly, I mean, they were cool to watch and all, but Universe is a totally different class of television to SG1 and Atlantis. As one of the reviewers said, Stargate has grown up. Universe could well be the best space-themed Scifi show I've seen so far, it kicks the crap out of all the Star Trek series and is much less annoying than Battlestar Galactica is. Plot discussion

There seems to be something a bit funny going on with the season box and followed and preceded by buttons going on here and in series two and between them. I have no idea how to edit this sort of thing so if someone else could take a look I would be very grateful :D Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 19:31, January 16, 2010 (UTC)

Done. I mean that I fixed the absence of "preceded by" but I didn't get what else do you think need to be fixed :) --Глючарина (talk) (Contribs) 19:38, January 16, 2010 (UTC)
The box that looks like a calender showing all the episodes in the season. I thought it had a problem but I've just double-checked it now and it seems fine so never mind :) Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 20:54, January 16, 2010 (UTC)

Mike Dopud I believe he is returning as Odai Ventrel, you'd have to watch the eps online even though they are dubbed in Ukranian.

does this mean the real expedition will be able to reach Destiny and send the eople already there supplies?

He doesn't play Ventrel. And no, that ain't happening. Yet, anyway. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 20:26, May 12, 2010 (UTC)
They've blown up another planet. Very-very-very bad luck --Глючарина (talk) (Contribs) 20:36, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

does anyone know if this and the following two episodes are available on youttube? Alex1442 (talk) (Contribs) 10:11, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

Does anyone know why the episode summary has already been added ? The episode hasn't aired yet. It will air on May 21st.

Because it aired in Russian and a functioning plot summary was gleamed from that. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 15:33, May 16, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, the whole series has already finished on K1 TV in Ukraine Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 16:24, May 16, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. Can you write spoilers before the plot summary so that people who haven't seen the episode yet are warned ? ~~ Dr. Rush 4:19 (EST)
"Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow."
You were warned, as will anyone else be. That's what that red line is for. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 20:26, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

Richard Dean Anderson

He's not fat...I wouldn't even call him overweight... but his age seems to have robbed him of his chin. All the skin seems to have dropped/drooped, making his face look round and squishy, befitting of a General, but you wouldn't think him once an SG team leader to look at him. Side note: I added a spoiler warning to the top of the page because on this wiki we use talk pages to discuss things other than the article itself. Our talk pages are our forum in many ways. It can be removed when the episode airs. Kal'el T | C - 18:14, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

It's obvious this was filmed early on, when RDA was still suffering from the after-effects of his knee surgery (I think that was the problem). — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 19:24, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Telford's House

It would have been sooooooo amazing if Rush found like a rubber chicken or some sort of blow-up doll in Telford's house. Awesomeness would have definitely ensued.. hahahaha. Oh man, they really could have added some humor to that scene. It would have detracted a bit from the plot... but still... —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 06:31, May 22, 2010 (UTC)

Rush finds a strange collection of 'toys' in a compartment in the closet. xD Byakuya Truelight (talk) (Contribs) 16:38, May 22, 2010 (UTC)

Telford: "You found what? I was brainwashed, that's why that was there. DON'T JUDGE ME" Kal'el T | C - 16:18, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, Rush could have opened up Telford's closet and found a sombrero! Or... women's clothing!... or like a giant frog suit or something... —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 20:43, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
