It has just been officially announced by Syfy that Stargate Universe is CANCELLED!! This is not only the end to the series but also the end of the stargate franchise. To any and all Stargate fans, please help keep this show and franchise alive.

I just want the franchise, not that show in particular. BUT STILL! Jauh0 (talk) (Contribs) 13:39, December 17, 2010 (UTC)

Season 2 is good but season 1 sucked because there was nothing else besides drama. No science fiction and very little action. The only eps I liked in season 1 were Space and Sabotage. Jauh0 (talk) (Contribs) 11:05, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

It propably won't make a difference, but there is a petition. Jauh0 (talk) (Contribs) 23:00, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Destiny stargatesEdit

This whole idea that the destiny stargates are the most primitive seems silly to me. How about the idea that because they were made by a machine, with limited resources and the fact it wouldn't be used more than a dozen times, made them chose to make them simpler, to speed up production/etc. The idea that you can 'see' star-gate in range seems pretty sophisticated. Before anyone says "but why isn't the stargate on Destiny sophisticated?" It is, look at all the computers, it has nearly all the same functions as the Atlantis DHD. The old fashioned look is to fit in with the ship (being old fashioned)

So in terms of sophistication it would go (highest to lowest):

Pegasus, Milky-way, Destiny

In therms of age though it would go (highest to lowest):

Milky way, Destiny, Pegasus 14:16, September 8, 2010 (UTC)

Except Doc Scratch Doc Rush said that Destiny gates are the oldest. —Supakillaii (talk) (Contribs) 15:13, September 8, 2010 (UTC)
The milky way network must have been upgraded several times since the launch of destiny. So I don't know if you can call it older. You can 'see' stargates in range because they are equipped with subspace comminication systems which the ancients never cared to install in the milky way or pegasus, since that already was their territory, or something. Nice Edit

Hey nice work on the article man... :) ASTL0001Jenkins08 Chat | Contribs - - 12:44, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

I moved the page to "franchise" just because it has always bugged me how there might be some confusion given that "universe" is also the name of one of the series. Hm... Though I guess one would be smart enough to figure it out relatively quickly.... eh. Although now we have a bunch of redirects everywhere.... I might just change it back. Anyway.... —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 04:38, September 4, 2010 (UTC)

Confusion? That's what we have disambuagtion pages for.Thomsons Gazelle (talk) (Contribs) 20:14, November 13, 2012 (UTC)

Endings Edit

Hello Stargate,

Im a very big fan of Stargate and i did see all of the series and movies.

The Stargate SG1 got a ending in the movie (Ark Of Truth(2008)) and i liked it.

This is the trailer of the movie (Ark Of Truth(2008))

The Stargat Atlantis got a ending in the serie and i likes it too.

This is the ending of Atlanthis.

Now i wanna see the ending off Atlantis Universe.

This is the ending of Stargate Universe.

This is now ending.

The ending is still open.

What happens or what happens after the 3 jears??

Are they dead?

Are they still alive?

Where are they going?

Are they getting home again (to earth)?

So many questions open. So still no ending. When comes the ending of Universe?
