I don't think that all the original SG teams were 4 people - SG-1 started with about 8, until they were killed off. There remained some 4 person teams, but the engineering & archeology ones were larger. Alphax 19:38, 27 Mar 2005 (EST)

I don't know, but it sounds reasonable to remove the 4-person qualifier from the text. --CocoaZen 13:25, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)

Some of the new editors linked to the categories rather than the articles. There seems to be some confusion in this wiki about how to use hypertext with articles and categories to group related articles. I've changed a bunch of links to go to articles and added a few links to articles that don't exist yet, but probably should be added (for example, stargate. Hope I haven't messed up anyone's grand plan. --CocoaZen 13:25, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)

I think the pages (Stargate - the Movie, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis) would be much better with some production background to them, e.g. X decided to produce Stargate Atlantis because he thought..., beacuse at the moment they only cover plot details. Is this on purpose, are we going to cover it at some time? BTW: I wasn't sure where to post this comment, it could be at the Community Portal I suppose.--GingerM 15:45, 15 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Yes, it could be at Community Portal. However, since the discussion is under way... :) I also believe this to be a part of our wiki that could be something more than it is today. I would gladly see that it became more than today. Peter R 16:30, 15 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I don't really like where the YouTube movies are right now. Is it possible we could move them to the side or something? -- SFH 23:30, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't know, I just copied the templates our last vandal (Hal Davis) created. Does this indicate we're allowed to do this, because I wasn't sure about that. 67.171.163.212 23:44, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • I'm not sure about it either. To be honest, we might want to remove them until we get some insight from the other admins (assuming they are still alive) or talk to the central wikia staff, but I wouldn't know how to do that. -- SFH 23:50, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Should there be a basic structure for episode summaries? I started one a while back but wondered if they should all follow a certain model. I think that if we decide they should it should carry over for all series and movies.

Maybe: Summary Cast and Crew Spoiler Warning Prologue (including links to each episode shown in the previously on Stargate) Act 1 Act 2 Act 3 Denoument/epilogue Trivia quotes hotlinks to other episodes in the season or something like that.

The link for episode 6.11, Prometheus, goes to the article about the ship, not the ep.

Episode[]

Does anyone know in what episode you see a Tel'tak flying toward Earth? It's also one of the last scenes in the Season 6 opening. I've tried looking for the episode myself but have so far been unsuccessful. Thanks.—Anubis 10545 03:22, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

SG1 - Atlantis episode order[]

Is it like SG1 S8E5 -> Atl S1E5 -> SG1 S8E6 -> Atl S1E6 etc etc??? Supakillaii 15:12, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Not at all - there can be different time passed between episodes. But them don't cross over often, so nobody cares —User:Глючарина 17:10, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
I care )= Supakillaii 18:06, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
So stop caring. Nobody knows correct order —User:Глючарина 18:17, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
I do think I meant the order they aired. Apologies. Supakillaii 18:21, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh, so yes, something like thate. Just look dates —User:Глючарина 18:34, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
But the episodes aired at the same day. Which one to watch first? Supakillaii 18:40, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
I have the correct order for you, here Jenkins08 (Talk) - - 13:57, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
Invalid or Deleted fire :o —Supakillaii (talk) (Contribs) 21:46, December 19, 2009 (UTC)
I'm using this order but I think it would be good to have a page here on the topic. Would it be ok to start one?Saintless77 (talk) (Contribs) 05:57, January 2, 2015 (UTC)

Episode #[]

MAJOR problem here. Our "Children of the Gods" article states that it is both the first and second episode of Stargate SG-1 (which it should and is). But, the article we have for The Enemy Within states that that episode is number 2 (when it is really number 3). This throws off every episode following and therefore, on the {{SG-1}} template, it shows there to be only 21 episodes when there are, in fact, 22. As there are known to be 214 episodes, children of the gods does count as 2. If someone wants to fix it, go ahead. otherwise, look here first when you want to know what the heck I'm doing when I get to fixing it tomorrow. :) . Although I could have also made a terrible mistake, in which case, someone tell me how horribly wrong I am :) . It seems like a hard thing to have not noticed over all these years, but maybe we did... —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 06:09, December 14, 2009 (UTC)

I believe that that is how the order was intended, with the Pilot as a single episode, or at least that's the form it takes on Hulu and iTunes, as well as (I think) the DVDs. --Wellslogan (talk) (Contribs) 17:03, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Opening[]

I found this on youtube. It's the Stargate sg1 opening to the music of macgyver. Pretty funny, although some video was added in to make it fill the time. It's pretty close, thought, opposed to the others I saw. Just thought I'd mention it.—Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 18:05, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

Ra is the last of his race in The Movie, but not in the show.[]

Trying to bridge the cannon of the Movie with the Show regarding Ra

I put forth the idea that Ra's true form as the parasite is cannon, and that his first host body was infact the last of it's kind. Probably chosen due to its humanoid structure, it was probably the best of the best his species could have hoped for prior to finding earth. That being said, it was stated in the movie that humanity was far more simpler in construction and therefore much easier to repair than his old body. This can still be considered cannon as humanity was not discoverd prior, and the fact that Ra lived for so many years can be attributed to his advanced technology sustaining said body for thousands of years. In the show the need for human hosts for the Go'aul may be due to the loss of Ra's rejuvenation technology, which may have been stolen from his first host body.

what do you think?

Except they have no need for Human hosts in the show (example: Mardock or whoever was in that pyramid, Unas')—Supakillaii (talk) (Contribs) 07:25, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

Blu Ray???[]

On Amazon.com there is Stargate SG-1: Season One Blu-ray and Stargate Atlantis Season One Blu-ray is this confirmed or is this just speculation by Amazon.com. It is only for Season 1 and there is no release date. Lordqaz (talk) (Contribs) 01:49, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
