Martin Wood mentioned in passing on some panel or interview (I can't find the video I watched) that so long as the kind of success they've had with Ark and Continuum remains, they're hoping to release two movies a year, per series (2 SG-1 movies and 2 Atlantis movies). So hopefully, we can look forward to at least a couple more for each. —Ka'lel 00:01, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

4 movies a year, great. Although it does make you wonder why the heck SCI FI cancelled SG-1 and Atlantis in the first place, it does not make sense. -- Matthew R Dunn 00:07, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Well Sci-Fi didn't cancel Atlantis, the writers did...but they cancelled SG-1 because the ratings were dropping drastically, in part thanks to recording devices which weren't at that time taken into consideration. Though obviously the sales of the DVD show that the show really could have done well, the ratings at the times didn't back that up. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 00:12, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Why not renow the series for one season each? Won't that be better than 4 movies? GeneralDuke 14:33, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Do you know why they cancelled Atlantis because the series was awesome!—Tau'ri 21300Tau'ri 21300 05:12, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

I thinks it's because the writers wanted to end Atlantis at a high point and not have a last season of really bad episodes. Although it is unlikely that would have happened. Also, it was so they could focus more on Stargate Universe. It kind of makes you wonder that if the AOT and Continuum were really bad, if they would have just made a 6th season.—Anubis 10545 05:28, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

well the truth is, and i forgot where i read this but it was in a news article i think- the writers wanted to cancel atlantis at a high point for a new series and the fact that sgu will be cheaper to produce. lets jsut hope that sgu will be good lol. but i really wish they hadn't cancelled atlantis... they gotta find the way to create zpms!!!!!!!!! then they can mass produce em. each ship has like 5 of em. every house has 1. no more bad energy.—SupremeCommander 06:13, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Seeing how ZPMs produces as much energy as several power plants on Earth, probably 2 ZPMs could power the entire planet.—Anubis 10545 08:26, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
But if they figured out how to produce ZPMs, the show would be over. They would have to reveal the program to tell where they got them, and they would be essentially invincible. It would really take out all the excitment in the show, think Superman.--Undomesticatedequine69 (talk) (Contribs) 16:34, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

I think we should rename this article to Project Terzo since it's the only official name we have, like they did for the Project Twilight page. :) Byakuya Truelight 11:01, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

The Secret Mission?

in eag, it was said that the odyssey was on a secret mission. its possible that thats what this movie will be about. i hope that ben browder and beau bridges will come back. i wonder why claudia won't. hope they give a good explanation for it. maybe like she decided to go with tomin after all. oh and another thing, i remember reading somewhere that more was gonna be reveiled in a later season about the furlings so thats where the odyssey might have gone...to look for the furlings in the furlings' home galaxy—SupremeCommander 16:23, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

I know, I got that thought some time ago (see the Odyssey's talk page). I think it's quite possible that we will hear about what the Odyssey did in the next Atlantis movie, although I think that it's a longshot that it has anythng to do with the furlings. —Swedish guy 16:39, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Maybe Vala decided she should hang out with Ba'al's host? I think that they should incorporate Cliff Simon into one of their movies. They should have the host act just like Ba'al, because he was pretty awesome, but just 40 minutes straight of Ba'al kicking butt would be great. Maybe have him stab some people with his sword from Continuum. As far as Furlings go, I kind of want to see them, but I think it would be kind of funny to reference them all the time but never show them. Maybe they will show up in Universe??? --Undomesticatedequine69 00:07, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Another cool thing that they should do, is have a Goa'uld take a Wraith as a host. They would be almost as invincible as James Earl Jones when he voiced The First.--Undomesticatedequine69 (talk) (Contribs) 16:37, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
