:Agreed, let's come up with a decent name. Keep your eyes open on Gateworld and Joe's blog to see if a name pops up. If anyone wants to create a page in the meantime, Unknown Aliens (Space) will do for now, and we can always rename it. - 03:21, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

Based on what Rush said on this episode and my assumption, the alien ship in Justice were originally belong to the Blue alien. It is also confirm that it is a fighter ship type and same design as Unknown spaceship (Air, Part 3), therefore should both articles merge into one article. What about Dr.Rush?

Woh... you may want to refer to this article and wash your mouth out with it ;) . —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 23:46, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

April!! I know it says it on GW but it still sounds a little unlikely, don't you think. I didn't think it would be more than about four weeks at most :D Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 23:00, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

Usually it's only a month or so between mid-season breaks. I would expect a break of this size more between actual seasons.—Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 00:22, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it's a long time. It may have something to do with the Olympics, but they're also airing Caprica in SGU's timeslot. I was a big fan of BSG and I've already seen the awesome premiere of Caprica, so at least there will be something to watch. Kal'el T | C - 16:15, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Here's another thought, the sooner SGU returns, the longer we have to wait for season two. Four months seems pretty equal to me (SGU 1.0, 4 months break, SGU 1.5, 4 months break, SGU 2.0). -- Matthew R Dunn (talk) (Contribs) 18:19, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Well that's actually not true, they wont start making series two until they have sufficient rating and stuff for S1 - and it hasn't been on long enough to make a decision. Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 19:18, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
But you do know it's renewed, right? -- Matthew R Dunn (talk) (Contribs) 19:20, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Nope :D - But seriously, april 4th! Sman789 (talk)
From one of the Previews they showed on SyFy on April 2nd, the Aliens appear to be the same ones that fired that little shuttle/probe off of the Destiny in Air. They also sound either reptilian or like an insect. Mr White (talk) (Contribs) 15:27, April 2, 2010 (UTC) (Contribs) 15:27, December 27, 2009 (UTC)

First Space traveling advanced alien!!!

How cool it must be when they first advanced space still aliens in the next section. Wondering how it looks. Maybe the Wraith or more undesirable. Has already begun with the hand on the breed of my Stargate Wiki page.--DannyJackson (talk) (Contribs) 17:05, January 1, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, it probably will be cool. I wish it wold be something completely different from already seen. Some non-humanoids, non-individual, non-something --╔▲ ☼╚╡∩║ ⅜⌡├┤∩ (talk) (Contribs) 17:52, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
I heard from an unofficial source that They will be Aquatic. If anyone else heard it I have to say: Aquatic civilisations can NOT exist! I'll tell you why: 1.They couldn't make fire. 2. They couldn't melt ores (Iron, copper, etc) so the could not even make a sword! Not to mention starships.
Underwater volcanoes.. Fire CAN burn underwater, not just the "normal" wood/paper/ fuelled fire ye landlubbers be used to. Plenty of chemical reactions make fire. Ever seen aquatic flares?
No I didn't even heard about aquatic flares. But could they melt ores this way? How could they bring the metal to the casting mould? The lava from the volcanoes make the water near it very hot so they would die there, And the lava is a mix of many resources, How could they separate them?
Clearly nobody remembers the Ohnes. Byakuya Truelight (talk) (Contribs) 14:08, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
The article says that they are Semi-aquatic. They could have evolved on land and gone underwater because unknown reasons (climatic change, for example). But a civilisation can't evolve underwater. (see my last comment: couldn't use metals...)
Well there is what could be considered evidence that they are aquatic if they are the same aliens who occupied Destiny before humans and were seen leaving a the end of Air part three. If they are the same race then they obviosly didnt bother with fixing the oxygen filtration system, suggesting that they did not need it and thus could in fact possible be water breathers.--99.152.246.38 22:55, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

Cut alien bit.

Can someone cut to the "Alien bit" out of SGU - Season 1 - Stargate Universe - Trailer 1.5. - MGM New Trailer. When Aliens take on board.?DannyJackson (talk) (Contribs) 16:40, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

it finally aired.

is it possible that the aliens were following the destiny for a long time? and they just learned more about it when they got Rush? hmm, was it the aliens at the end of Air part three? the ships looked similar. why were they so hostile..i was hoping for a peaceful first contact. i'm so excited to see how the civilians take command of the Destiny. Unsigned comment by 70.111.222.170 (talk • contribs).

How long? I believe that they are natives of this galaxy
Apparently yes, yes they are
Sure. And now we can say that spacecraft from Justice is their fighter as well, by the way
Well, they want the ship but why? Mistery of the ages. Everybody want this ship anyway --Глючарина (talk) (Contribs) 02:40, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

yes, rush said that he must have activated a distress beacon which brought the aliens to him. Unsigned comment by 70.111.222.170 (talk • contribs).

It is definitely the same ship design as Air, Part 3 and yes, I think we can now confirm that the ship in Justice is also the same type. I imagine one of their race was aboard Destiny attempting to figure it all out when the Stargate suddenly opened and all these people came pouring in. So whoever was aboard that shuttle detached and headed home. Given how invested they are in Destiny, it could be they've been following them the whole time, or it could be that they re-found the ship when they captured Rush. Kal'el T | C - 03:19, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

For me, the episode seemed to have way too many talking segments. I mean, the battle part started like 20 minutes in and lasted 20 minutes. Other than that, it was just the Destiny crew moping about their emotional problems. I would have rather seen Rush activate the ship on the planet and encounter the aliens... it seemed like they copped out and merely recollected events rather than showing them... which would have been much more enjoyable. And almost every episode has seemed to end with a montage. I mean, it's not that bad. I don't know. It wasn't that bad of an episode... I guess that promos just made me expect too much. Probably will like it better the second time... when the TV I would have liked to watch it on isn't being used to watch some crappy movie. The aliens - I get that they're way out there in the universe - but they just seemed like a cliche... one that goes against everything Stargate has stood for in the past... largely. Plus, I hate all the tension that appear to be building up against young... hopefully that whole thing will be sorted out in the next episode and never mentioned again. Well, that was my rant... —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 05:13, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

what are the aliens?? can someone post a pic? ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 06:27, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
Um, don't have a screencap, but there's the image here. They're pretty skinny and make sort of "chirping" noises. They also wear a sort of skin-tight leather-like black suit and seem sort of insect-like. They also seem kind of "fragile"... Rush was able to beat one up pretty easily. —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 06:44, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
i do not like their design. its like a combination of the asgards, those ridiculous blue people in avatar, and the mon calamari, found another shot here. also whats with this episode naming scheme, "space" "air" "time"? come on you can think up some names with more than one words in them if you try ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 06:46, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
Looks like we can look toward season 2 for multi-word titles. With regard to the aliens, it also seemed like their level of technology (and interior design of their ship) didn't really match the drab, brown, and steampunkish exterior of their main ship. And that whole thing with keeping people in fish tanks seemed kind of strange. They changed the prologue at the beginning of the episode, but they kept the simple 5 second opening. Although I was kind of hoping they would have made a "full-length" opening... but I figured they wouldn't... —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 07:19, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
They have shielded mothership. And fighters. Shielded too, by the way. And powerful weapons. They wouldn't have them if they not at war with someone. And fish tanks was probably made for their enemies --Глючарина (talk) (Contribs) 07:25, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
Also, the episode seemed a bit rushed. I mean, they could have easily drawn it out to 2 episodes... like they did with "Darkness" and "Light"... maybe. Hopefully the episode these aliens come back will go into more depth (and I assume they do come back as per the screenshot of them coming through the gate in the 1.5 trailer).
i wonder when (if) a "todd-type" character of this species appears ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 07:29, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
They probably won't be featured enough to allow for such a character development. Plus, they don't really speak English... kind of. —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 07:38, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

Why'd Destiny stop with a countdown in front of the mothership?

There was no reason for it to stop and have a countdown.

There was a Purple planet within range --Глючарина (talk) (Contribs) 08:05, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

the article says the alien handled a communication stone which allowed Young to switch with it. when did it do that? and how did a stone get all the way out there?
