Why does General Hammond tell Apophis "We've met"? Which episode did they meet in before this? -- 06:22, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

They met in episode 1.

== When apophis came to earth to find a host for his queen. There were several Air-Force personell guarding the dormant gate when this happened, hammond was in command of the SGC, but was not present in the gate room when this event took place.

Hammon was present in the gateroom at the beginning of the first episode while Apophis was unmasked, before taking the unconcious Wetherings back through the stargate. He ordered his troops not to fire to avoid hitting the unconscious soldier. They did not meet, in the strictest sense, but Hammon would have been able to identify Apophis without O'Neill introducing him. 22:42, May 3, 2017 (UTC)22:42, May 3, 2017 (UTC)22:42, May 3, 2017 (UTC)~

They did not "meet" but Hammond would have seen his face as a result, this is as close as they had come prior to this episode. The only other time Apophis came to earth prior to this was the attack on earth, which SG:1 prevented by destroying the two motherships. Apophis however never actually made it to the planet in that episode. And so never actually met the general before this episode, so the comment does seem out-of-place. ==

Is it just me or Teal'c said "he has come here seeking refuge" with a sadistic smile?Amitakartok (talk) (Contribs) 22:00, January 21, 2010 (UTC)

Ep. number Edit

here it is stated that Holiday is the 18th episode of season 2 and Serpent's Song is the 17th, but on IMDB it states that Holidayis the 17th and Serpent's Song is the 18th, so wich is it ?--Fipas (talk) (Contribs) 16:25, May 22, 2010 (UTC)

I've responded to this on the talk page for Holiday. Rather than me copying the same text over here I'd ask that the discussion be continued over there.
