He, guys. I wrote Rafael article not long ago, following red link. What name and what article should we keep? --╔▲╠☼╚╡∩║▀⌠⅜⌡├┤∩ (talk) (Contribs) 16:26, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not entirely sure which one it should be at, but I've moved it to this page temporarily. The DVD Collection 48 and the "System Lords" deck from the Trading Card Game both spell it Raphael but the script that used to be on the official website has it spelled Rafael. If someone could watch the credits from the DVD to see how it's spelled there then I think it'd be best if we went with that spelling. If nobody has done it within the next few days then I'll try to myself, but I'm a bit too busy at the moment. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 17:45, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

Rafael vs Raphael Spelling[]

As was pointed out before, the official shooting script spells the name of this character as "Rafael". IMDB has also settled on the "Rafael" spelling. Oddly enough, the on-screen credits at the end only give names for minor characters. "Rafael" is considered a major character for this episode, so only the actor's name ("Frank Roman") is given after the main title. The character name is not spoken until the second part of the two-part "Evolution" episode, but when it is, the subtitles and closed captions spell the name as "Rafael".

I propose that the article name and all related mentions of this character be revised to use the "Rafael" spelling. If no one objects, I will go ahead and make the change.
