How did the Ori find the Ida galaxy? And how did the crew of the Oddysey managed to gate home to Earth when a normal DHD can't dial between galaxies? Iaselar 19:49, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

They perhaps followed the Odyssey or, more likely, their sensors picked up the Odyssey and the Asgard Core's thing and headed there. And they dialled Earth from the Milky Way galaxy. —Supakillaii (talk) (Contribs) 18:43, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Jump between the galaxies Edit

1. When the crew was beamed to the planet to use the stargate, they were in the milky-way galaxy. After the Asgard planet was blown up they entered Hyperspace and traveled back to milky way (the Asgard-Home-Galaxy is close to milky-way, so they were able to got there quite fast

2. They were not in the Ida-Galaxy! The only known Planet in the Ida-Galaxy is Othala(planet), which was named after the home-galaxy of the asgard: The Othala-Galaxy. Remember when Oneil was frozen in Antarctica, Carter asked Weir to use the modified Ship to travel to Hala in the Asgard-Home Galaxy, which Daniel identified as Othala! The asgard built a few bases in the Idagalaxy, like the tauri build Alpha-bases in the pegasus-galaxy. --84.150.157.2 16:06, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

This planet is in the othalla galaxy not the ida galaxy

Asgard blow OrillaEdit

Who it the Asgard blow Orilla? is the one who knows?--DannyJackson (talk) (Contribs) 14:28, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Suicide, to help the Tau'ri to escape with all their knowledge and to help them survive from the Ori Warships. —Supakillaii (talk) (Contribs) 14:31, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

No I meant who the Asgard blow up Orilla? it they placed some sort of explosive device in the planet's core, which had the planet to explode.--DannyJackson (talk) (Contribs) 15:26, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, how? Hmm. You know, I actually don't know. Perhaps they collapsed it just enough for it to explode instead of implode? —Supakillaii (talk) (Contribs) 18:38, January 9, 2010 (UTC)
