Do we know she was an Ancient? I mean, many will have ascended since the Ancients did and most will have joined the Ancients' "gang" but can we be sure that Oma was actually an Ancient? Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 15:45, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

  • Pretty sure. Merlin knew her. Remember his reaction when Daniel told him she helped him Ascend??? He replied "of course." And then later he commented on her motives compared to the Ori.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) (Contribs) 16:24, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
    • As I recall Merlin specifcally stated that he was not familiar with Oma. When he said "ah of course" he was commenting on what Daniel Said about being helped Ascend becasue he was not evoloutionarily ready yet. --D Toccs (talk) (Contribs) 04:34, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
"I'm surprised she still hasn't learned her lesson." —Supakillaii (talk) (Contribs) 11:24, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
Is something someone might say upon hearing a story about what a person does.Supertrinko (talk) (Contribs) 15:27, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
If nothing else, Stargate SG-1: The DVD Collection 56 confirms she's an Ancient. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 16:43, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

The final quotation from Threads needs adjusting[]

"Frank, I need a nose boy in a blanket, two hen fruit wrecked on a shingle with a mystery in the alley, a warm mead with a mouldy lid, and two checkerboards, alright? Oh yeah, hold the pig."
—Oma Desala - (SG1: "Threads")
This should read:
"Frank, I need a Noah's boy in a blanket, two hen fruit wrecked on a shingle with a mystery in the alley, a warm Eve with a mouldy lid, and two checkerboards, alright? Oh yeah, hold the pig."
—Oma Desala - (SG1: "Threads")
Roughly translated it means: Ham with pancakes; 2 eggs, scrambled, on toast with a side order of hash; warm apple pie with a slice of cheese; and 2 waffles, no bacon. 178.102.69.55 22:19, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
