Did anyone notice that the "Blue Aliens" look an awful lot like the "Silver Aliens" from the last season of Stargate Atlantis?

If you mean the Sekkari... they actually do. Well, kind of. —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 20:45, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

They appear to be similar to the Wookies of Star Wars as far as communication is concerned, they have the capacity to understand humans (either vis a translator or via the mind probe), but are vocally incapable of speaking it. Vae Infectus (talk) (Contribs) 00:49, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

The stone. Edit

Where did these aliens get the communication stone? Three, and only three choices. 1. From Destiny 2. From a Stargate seeding ship 3. From Rush. Considering that the Ancients presence in this area of the universe is limited to the Destiny project, these are the only choices. Personally I believe they got the stone from Rush. The reason is that this whole thing happened after Rush got kidnapped, although the crashed ship's crew could have stolen the stone from Destiny, and when the Blue aliens picked up Rush, they found the stone. Unsigned comment by Uriel718 (talk • contribs).

There is many other options. I for one prefer the idea that those could be the furlings, but I also think that this could be the alterans, except they had escaped the pleague by cloning and leaving for another galaxy. I come up with many other ideas to, but they are very far-fetched (such as the nox is not only hippies, but some were scientists and left for another galaxy millenias ago). -- feha
I don't believe they have a stone. The stones were brought by the Expedition, so I don't think there would be any on Destiny or a seeding ship, and I see no reason why Rush would be keeping one on him. I think it had something to do with their mind-reading devices crossing "wires" with the stones' "wires". MolocKal'el T | C - 04:18, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
This is almost unmistakably a communication stone. The alien wasn't wearing a mind-control device at the time, but he did touch that stone. 76.246.19.248 06:05, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
I completely missed that. Very cool. I wonder where he found it, maybe Rush did have it on him. MolocKal'el T | C - 21:47, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
I was right, in Divided Young said that the stone must have come from Rush. --Uriel718 (talk) (Contribs) 09:19, April 10, 2010 (UTC)
didnt rush kind of hint at that nayway at the end of the episode when young presented rush with a theory of how they got a stone92.23.22.3 12:05, October 17, 2010 (UTC)

fire and water Edit

In "Fire and Water" of SG1 season 1 Daniel Jackson is captured by a blue alien that has tenacles hangin off of his face. This blue alien has tecnology to mess with, and probe minds. It is hinted at that SG-1 was kept inside of a watery tank.

Is there any chance that this blue alien from "Fire and Water" is related to the the blue aliens from SGU? 76.20.12.58 05:52, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe they r related
The face is similar, however, the body is completely different. I doubt there will ever be a connection made between them on the show. Though, I suppose the realm of fan-fiction makes anything possible. 24.129.63.241 02:53, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

FTL Edit

In my opinion it is a quite rough assumption that that blue light was an FTL-engine rather than an ordinary hyperdrive.—GeneralDuke (talk) (Contribs) 21:34, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

Hyperdrive creates a tell-tale wormhole effect when used. This just warped out like Destiny does. 76.246.19.248 22:22, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

Aliens aboard Destiny and Unlocking Edit

Joe Mallozzi has stated on his blog twice now that (while not sure) it seems the aliens have not been aboard Destiny before the events of "Space". Before the Expedition arrived on the ship, all of Destiny's power was used for shielding and automated defenses. When they arrived, power had to be diverted to other major systems like life-support and weapons, weakening the shield. While it now seems more likely that the alien fighter arrived after the Expedition, it is still speculation to state definitively one way or the other.
I am unlocking the page for everyone to edit. I am not opposed to adding a "not sure/may have been/speculate" bit to a "Notes" section of the article, but if anyone adds unwarranted speculation regarding this topic to the main sections of the article again, the page will be relocked indefinitely. There's still a lot to be written about these blue guys, so please feel free to expand and add other information and feel free to debate this topic here on the talk page and not in the comments of an edit war. Cheers. MolocKal'el T | C - 06:20, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

Adding that, according to Rush, the ship(s) were in fact docked with Destiny before the arrival of the expedition, as evidenced in "Divided" dialogue. MolocKal'el T | C - 20:27, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

Universe Season 2 Edit

I was wondering what do these species want with Destiny. Not only that their technology and design seem to be similar or based on Destiny or the Stargate seeding ships, but could the mission Destiny is trying to fulfilled they are after? Quite an interesting species and from the new trailer, it seem that one of their kind managed to board the Stargate Seeding ship in the Awakening episode. More worse they might also know Destiny flightpath which can be shown in the trailer where a huge armanda of their ship attacking Destiny. Can't wait for the the series to air again. Lots of unexplained stuff. Hafiedz

I thought the aliens on the SSS were green? Maybe these can be the kiwi aliens :D Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 12:51, September 25, 2010 (UTC)
I not sure about that but if it is the same species as Blueberry alien, then I guess the green skin alien were result of insufficient water that were needed by this species in their physiology. Of course this is only assumption! But to think back, if this Blueberry alien follow Destiny to the next galaxy , I wonder which galaxy do they originated from? I doubt they originate from the galaxy when the Destiny expedition first boarded the Destiny as they had been following for a long time and the fact that they might be the one who attack Destiny before the expedition arrive. in which episode did green aliens appear? ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 21:30, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Chloe's behavior could provides some clues about them. She could heal her wounds and read Ancient, suggesting they can too. She could also sabotage the ship to send it off course(according to Rush, and as there is no confirmed explination). These aliens could be capable of this and possibly more.CourtneyFANno.1 00:36, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

We never found out . . . Edit

How did the Nakai know how to send messages in english? We never found out, and I bet we would've if the series had continued! --Arkatox (talk) (Contribs) 22:05, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

I could have sworn the crew aboard Destiny translated it, but were it the Nakai, I would speculate/imagine/whatever term here, that they learned English (at least the written form) from having Rush and Chloe captive aboard one of their ships. Especially with Chloe, they had done things to their minds to make them act on their behalf, surely then, they took whatever was already there for study? --Terran Officer (talk) (Contribs) 00:08, May 19, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, you have a point. Chloe wasn't captive at the time when they first got the message "SURRENDER" from the aliens, but Rush was. Also, Eli stated that the message they received was not translated (as in the aliens sent the exact text "SURRENDER"), which is why everyone got scared. --Arkatox (talk) (Contribs) 00:11, May 19, 2011 (UTC)
