Does anyone know of an official source that refers to this as a 'Mini Stargate"?. It's the article's original name from 2008, which leads me to believe it's just fan-made, in which case we should include the standard template to denote that. Also, 'Mini Stargate' has always irked me... it seems like "Orlin's Stargate' would be a better title. But I guess if it's fan-made anyway it doesn't matter.Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 00:57, June 14, 2015 (UTC)

:On Stargate Network, I called it "Orlin's makeshift Stargate". That was meant as a description rather a title tough. If "Mini Stargate" isn't official, "Orlin's Stargate" or "Orlin's makeshift Stargate" would be a better title. I have mixed feelings on including the "makeshift" at part of the tough. History note

"It's unknown whether the Mini Stargate was a technology already known to the Ancients before they Ascended or it was only created by the enhanced knowledge known by Ascended beings." - The regular Stargates as we know them were definitely created before the Ancients ascended. So, even if they never had any smaller sized versions as test objects or whatever, it's still pretty save to assume that what we know as the two regular versions are simply two models of the Freightliners among the Stargate types, while Orlin's version might simply be a homemade Chevette type of Stargate. Not much (if any) differences in technology, just size. - Bell'Orso 20:40, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Why a toaster?

i mean, i can understand if Orlin needed batteries or a lightbulb, but why a toaster? seriously?
