Apparently, Barr has asked places to not share her face (check comments), which is presumably why she hasn't really appeared at any conventions or have any social media to speak of (at least, to the best of my knowledge), despite being in pretty high-level productions since the early 90s. Admittedly, I can't find a source on her privacy, but I also can't find much on her life in general (her wikipedia page is literally nothing but credits for example), which in of itself kind of backs this up.
