Faulty Logic[]

Joe Faxon's 2010 counter part makes several errors in logic. According to him the Aschen would not invest in Earth because the population was unsustainable, however with Aschen technology and the whole of the Stargate network this is false as there were plenty of uninhabited planets that could have been converted to farming planets and easily maintained. His second assertion was the him not telling Carter about the Aschen sterilization of the population was the same as her not revealing information in her classified work, that would have had little to no bearing on their marriage. While both secrets were kept to protect the public Carter was to prevent panic from knowing about an ongoing war with an alien race with advanced technology, were Faxon was covering up that they were robbing people of the chance to have children. His third showing of his faulty logic was that the Aschen did not do this intentionally, which if the Aschen had asked for 30% sterilization and the results were actually 40% that could be a mistake on their part but instead of 30% it is 91% this is not a mistake but a plan. The final error was that the Goa'uld were going to whip them out, as the rest of the series in the corrected timeline proved that wasn't true, the Goa'uld System Lords were actually under a treaty to not only not attack Earth but to stop any attack on Earth by an miner Goa'uld. Yes the whole treaty was a bluff by the Asgard, but it was a bluff that had worked for centuries without the Goa'uld calling the bluff. Also at the time only Apophis was a direct threat to Earth and he planned to eradicate the other System Lords first, before coming after Earth and as shown in the corrected timeline he could be defeated without the Aschen.
