Is Todd a bad guy or a good guy?

I'm not sure. He seems like a good guy at times, but personally, I think he's just trying to get on Atlantis' good side, and he uses them to get what he needs doing, like become the Wraith leader, since he lost much of his status after being imprisoned by the Genii. So in other words, I think he's one of those people who doesn't take sides. -- Matthew R Dunn 11:53, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
I think he'll end up as a good guy because too many fans like him for them to make him a baddie Sman789 18:08, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
I think he's a semi-good guy. He clearly still is somewhat evil: probably only told the team about the ZPM powered hive ship in order to get revenge on Kenny as that was his plan in the first place, but there are points that indicate that perhaps he's good: he's shown a degree of honor that other Wraith don't have, he honors his deals, the only time he really betrayed us he did think we'd betrayed him first. I wish they'd continued the almost friendship thing he and Sheppard had in Common Ground, he and Sheppard were both reluctant to kill each other and they hoped they'd never meet again so they wouldn't have to face that possibility but Sheppard always seems to want to kill him now and the comraderie the two developed seemed to vanish after that episode.
Hes sort of both but hes more bad then good, unlike most wraith hes willing to co-op with others rather then just feeding on them, which makes hum unquie. But he mostly driven by his need to regain power. Hes the good-bad guy of the show, just like Yu, in SG1. - Gregoryhugi

I'd call Todd a wraith version of Ronan and Shepperd. He's strong and crazy like Ronan, but has that dignified sense of command like Shepperd. But I just like that fact that he's a Wraith "defector".

he's not a defector, he is still allied with the united hives of the wraith —Asdf1239 (talk) (Contribs) 00:38, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

Sopping the wraith as a species from gaining control of one of the greatest feeding grounds in the universe simply for his own vengeance really wont do much for his standing among the wraith (which had already been plummeting), I think that by this point the united hives should have had enough of him.--99.135.151.0 21:25, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

it wasn't for vengeance, he was forced to help atlantis stop Kenny because if the renegade zpm hive ship had succeeded in conquering earth, it would have gone on to easily defeat todd's faction. his status among the wraith was fine until kenny betrayed him, because before that he was still leader of his wraith alliance. —Asdf1239 (talk) (Contribs) 00:54, February 19, 2010 (UTC)

I think Todd is like Vala in the beginning (although vala didnt eat people) he will do what he needs to in order to survive but does hold the atlantis team in high regard treating them as equals BlueSquadron (talk) (Contribs) 19:39, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Enemy at the Gate

In EATG, Sheppard seemed too angry toward Todd. Todd didn't do anything to betray him in that encounter, he gave Atlantis several more ZPM's which resulted in them saving Earth, and he freely came to the Atlantis Expedition to warn them about the Hive, freely putting him at their mercy in the process. It just seemed like Sheppard shouldn't have been so hard on him... wanting to kill him and all.—Anubis 10545 04:52, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

What do you guys think will happen to him?—Tau'ri 21300 09:56, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Sheppard was so mad because Todd betrayed them so much he just wasn't sure he could trust him. As for what happens to him my guess is that he becomes a prisoner on Atlantis again.

But todd seems to betray them vary rarely compared to other wraith, and he certainly didn't do anything "evil" recently, so why was sheppard so hard on him? I think that Todd should be awarded the distinguished service cross for his efforts to save the planet!--99.141.200.51 13:06, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

  • todd's "betrayal" in First Contact was nothing more than a misunderstanding
  • still, his hive ship and its subsequent theft was the reason the planet was in danger in the first place
  • but yes, he should not be imprisoned imo

Feed

Does he still need to feel on Humans? Since he took the drug he lost the need to feed but got sick. After having a Iratus bug suck his blood he is no longer ill. Does that mean he still doesn't have to feed on Humans? SuperN 01:04, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes, he does. After being "cured" by the Iratus bug, he is fully Wraith again. Originally, Woolsey was supposed to ask something similar to your question to Todd when he dials Atlantis at the beginning of Enemy at the Gate, and Todd would respond by saying "I am exactly as I was". But that scene was rewritten because there is a later scene in which Dr. Keller gives Todd a physical exam and afterward, she lets Sheppard know that Todd is back to feeding. But that scene ended up being cut from the episode. Paul Mullie says there will be an extended cut of the episode, probably on a DVD release, that will contain that scene. Cheers.—Ka'lel 01:43, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Now that todd is imprisoned (unconditionally probably) do they plan to ever feed him? if they keep him locked up for to long that's cruel and unusual punishment. And he didn't even deserve it.--99.141.200.51 13:06, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

they'll probably make him watch a show with a cliffhanger ending as punishment —Asdf1239 (talk) (Contribs) 00:39, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

tense

why is most of this article written in present tense? i thought only episodes were supposed to be written that way...i will prolly change it but i want to make sure if its intentional or not —ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 08:44, March 3, 2010 (UTC)

surely we should get a more recent headshot of him from s5, such as here at about 7:58 or here at 5:57 ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 04:34, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

name

according to the german stargate wiki, he is named after todd masters, the head of the prothestics and makeup on the shows. is this confirmed ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 07:32, April 10, 2010 (UTC)

when does he ever "formally introduce" himself as todd? ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 07:33, May 5, 2010 (UTC)

The Wraith never give their names. That is just the name humans gave him. I doubt he would introduce himself as that, unless it was to an Atlantis human (and i doubt that a lot). Venators (talk) (Contribs) 11:35, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
