I wrote in that the DHD is powered by a cold fusion reactor. This information comes directly from an episode of SG-1. --98.207.154.111 00:19, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Although, I do prefer "unknown" to the previous entry: "power crystals" --98.207.154.111 00:24, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

You'd have to specify which episode it was revealed in for the information to be included in the article. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 00:30, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, Jaymach. How should I do that? In other words, where should I put that information? --98.207.154.111 07:33, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

To cite things in an infobox, it's a tad more complicated than doing it in the article itself sadly. What you have to do is type {{Ref|<ref name="whatever">''[[Stargate SG-1]]'' "[[Episode name]]"</ref>}} and then add a reference bit at the bottom. If you just want to state which episode it was in on the talk page, however, then I'd be more than happy to change it over for you so you know how to do it in the future. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 07:50, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I hope this information is compelling enough. In the season 2 episode "The Fifth Race", Jack gets the knowledge of the Ancients downloaded into his brain. When a gate malfuntion leaves Carter and Teal'c stuck on an alien planet with two suns, Jack draws a diagram to explain how to fix the DHD. Here's the image on Gateworld.net http://www.gateworld.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=47&pos=368 Even though Jack can only speak Ancient at this point, he can still write in English and explains the workings of the DHD in great detail. The final step in the process, step "E", reads, in part: "Now you are ready to turn the power on again. The DHD has a cold fusion reactor core. It will take a few minutes to be fully charged" --98.207.154.111 23:30, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

I've went and added the reference for you. Feel free to look at what I've done here. I also added some other information, but you can feel free to ignore that. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 23:40, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Alright, cool. Nice work. The record's been set straight. --98.207.154.111 00:25, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

pegasus dhd used in milky way

in the last episode of stargate atlantis, the wraith brought a pegasus stargate and dhd which overrode the earth stargate. how was mckay still able to dial the milky way alpha site with a pegesus dhd that had the glyphs for the pegasus dhd?

Being the all-knowing Dr. McKay that he is, he was able to "Recalibrate the D.H.D. for local co-ordinates." I really don't know how the symbols worked interchangeably and how he knew exactly which ones to press though.—Anubis 10545 05:47, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
There was a brief shot of the reconfigured DHD, and it looked like the symbols had changed to the Milky Way glyphs, though the glyphs on the gate itself were still from Pegasus. — BrotherFlounder 23:44, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
