:There's no steps, as shown in "The Greater Good". By the same token, however, that airlock door is not so close that it has to be the edge. Rising from the hull

Its a phrase meaning it is sticking out of the structure. Like tower on a building.97.97.52.174 23:44, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

No, it means it actually can be raised, sorta like a pop-up bunker or something. It's in the Syfy sneak peak or whatever it's called. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:30, October 3, 2010 (UTC)
To me it looked like blast shields lowing down, rather than the bridge rising up. Looq (talk) (Contribs) 15:39, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
No, it does rise up. Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 18:00, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

Stargate control

I wonder if you could control the Stargate from the Bridge... |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| No more siggy... 04:07, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

Don't see why not - not only are all the consoles proven to be connected to the wider system, but Stargates also have wireless input (assuming Destiny's is not disabled for security reasons). Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 17:41, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

Goof?

Okay, so we've established that the Bridge rises up through the hull and pops out of the top of the tower. However, people still seam to be able to use the the door. Surely if the bridge changes position and rises up above the hull, than that door, when in that position, will lead no where. Yet people continue to use it as they wish and the corridor it connects to still seems to be in place. 94.7.72.18 22:58, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

actually I think that when the bridge goes up, the steps come up from the ground as well so people can still walk in to the bridge. --SupremeCommander (talk) (Contribs) 04:46, December 18, 2010 (UTC)
