SGCommand

The weapons on these fighters are incredibly strong. They seemed to be able to drain Destiny's shields in under a few minutes. They also fly very fast as well. Their speeds are even faster than Wraith Darts and possibly Ori Fighters. I wonder how powerful one of their motherships (command ships) would be. They are ridiculously fast, but I think there's more to this than the Ursini are telling us. Too little facts to make any theories, but there is something fishy going on. Jauh0 (talk) (Contribs) 14:17, December 2, 2010 (UTC)

Name and size[]

Mallozzi's blog gives us a name and scale. [1] And the command ship. [2][3]Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 08:16, December 5, 2010 (UTC)

Types[]

It should be noted in the article that there is three distinct types of drones, seen throughout the episode.

  • Type 1. Image Link. Difference from other "types": Appears to be the smallest of three "types" and is also the one seen on the concept art posted in Josephmallozzi’s Weblog. Like type 3, it also has three wing section, two unsymmetrical positioned on the side and on located in the front.
  • Type 3. Image Link. Difference from other "types": This type has elongated frontal section, as well as what appears to be weapons, on both "wings". Also, unlike type 1 & 2, it's upper "wing" section is not connected to lower.KSST (talk) (Contribs) 06:23, December 6, 2010 (UTC)

The concept art indicates a scale to that model, i.e. it's bigger in production than the prop would suggest, though it is true that more than one version appears in the episode and they obviously catch one. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 18:28, December 6, 2010 (UTC)

where did you get these images? Vilnisr T | C - 20:28, December 6, 2010 (UTC)
It's reffed in the article. Unless you mean the screeshots, in which case the first is from the season 2 trailer and the rest are from the episode. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:40, December 6, 2010 (UTC)

Berzerker[]

Berzerker- is it an alien race? Vilnisr T | C - 19:57, December 6, 2010 (UTC)

There is no way this drone is 28' by 18' by 10', just look at the picture. Either someone is useing a measurement system I've never heard of or someone has guess-ta-mated...CourtneyFANno.1 00:17, December 7, 2010 (UTC)

We should mention there is more then one type.CourtneyFANno.1 22:34, December 7, 2010 (UTC)

"unbeatable enemy"[]

hey, does anyone get the feeling that the drones are just the new "unbeatable enemy"? kinda like the replicators in SG-1, or the Asuran in Atlantis?202.168.101.99 03:55, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

Yes, yes I do feel like they are meant to replace the others, at least in that galaxy. Although perhaps they have IGH's, and could follow Destiny where ever. Gormagon (talk) (Contribs) 20:07, May 2, 2012 (UTC)

Weak hull materials.[]

Besides a Wraith dart no other ship in Stargate is seen being shot down by hand/hands held projectile weaponry. This would lead me to assume that these Drones are all offense and perhaps are mass produced very cheaply from weaker metals like iron. Gormagon (talk) (Contribs) 20:07, May 2, 2012 (UTC)
