Known Aschen[]

-I don't remember the name of the second Aschen from 2001, can anyone help??(Ascended Daniel 21:01, 6 January 2007 (UTC))

Extinction?[]

Can someone who has read Stargate SG-1: Relativity confirm that all the Aschen died when Aschen Prime was destroyed? I mean, Sateda was decimated and plenty of Satedans survived. —Ka'lel 22:43, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

They are very much not extinct, and are even one of the main enemies in the novel. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 03:22, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
It's possible they eventually encountered the Ori and attempted to fight the Ori but lost. I'd like to see the Aschen return in Stargate Universe somehow and perhaps assist Homeworld Command with dialing the Destiny again. General Heed (talk) (Contribs) 02:34, October 22, 2010 (UTC)
Even though the novels say that they're not gone, I don't think the writers of SGU will really take that into account. As far as they're concerned, the Aschen are gone. Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 17:01, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

colinies[]

are there any planets with a sizeable aschen population besides aschen prime? i mean they cant possibly have several entire planets dedicated entirely to farming just to support one world population...—ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 08:49, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think there are any other Aschen planets. They said themselves that they weren't natural explorers and probably wouldn't have expanded out onto other nearby worlds. Besides, the Volian population only numbered in the thousands. It's not unreasonable to think that a world in the billions may rely on several planets like that to keep fed. Not humans[]

Base on the dialoge between Carter and Mollem in "2010":

MOLUM
I should think you would have at least considered it, given the rapid growth of your population and the viability of the planet.
CARTER
Humans just don't think quite as far ahead as the Aschen seem to.

It's seem the Aschen are not humans but an alien race with a similar appearance to humans, just like the Ilempiri.Ingsoc (talk) (Contribs) 18:03, December 21, 2010 (UTC)

The Aschen are human. Carter's statement is meant to differentiate Earthings (humans) from Aschen (non-native humans). — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 21:28, December 21, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, the Aschen look Human enough. They are eather quite discilplened or they use drugs to help control/dampen emotions if the are Human though. I bet they have other outposts besides their homeworld. Gormagon (talk) (Contribs) 21:47, August 12, 2011 (UTC)

Anyone else ever think the Aschen could be a race of Aspies? No offence intended because I am an aspie myself. Gormagon (talk) (Contribs) 15:51, April 30, 2012 (UTC)

They are all like Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory Dragonfly82 (talk) (Contribs) 15:24, February 12, 2016 (UTC)
