What happened to the drone weapons themselves after the control chair was destroyed by the darts? :I wondered that myself. It is possible that the drone storage "box" (for lack of a better term) was transported along with the chair to area 51. As the chair is now destroyed, Atlantis will likely get the drones. However, the drones could have very well been destroyed along with the chair (and the ZPM for that matter). Although if the ZPM is intact, it will likely either go to the SGC to power and intergalactic wormhole, or to Atlantis to power its stardrive and take it back to Pegasus.—[[User:Anubis 10545|Anubis 10545]] 23:09, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

What Happened to the Drones?

What happened to the drone weapons themselves after the control chair was destroyed by the darts? It seems illogical that they remained on Antarctica, as the reason the chair was moved in the first place was due to the fact that it controlled the most powerful weapon on earth.--Scratzin 22:57, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

I wondered that myself. It is possible that the drone storage "box" (for lack of a better term) was transported along with the chair to area 51. As the chair is now destroyed, Atlantis will likely get the drones. However, the drones could have very well been destroyed along with the chair (and the ZPM for that matter). Although if the ZPM is intact, it will likely either go to the SGC to power and intergalactic wormhole, or to Atlantis to power its stardrive and take it back to Pegasus.—Anubis 10545 23:09, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
I know the CGI work on the eps was still temporary, but you think there would have been a bigger explosion if the drones had gone up. In "The Road not Taken" and "Vegas" it's shown that the chair still has plenty of drones, although those eps are in another reality--Scratzin 09:23, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
The drones might still be in antarctica and Earth is going to either repair the control chair or figure out anouther way to launch the drones. Drones don't just have to be launched by the control chair. Their is a function on aurora's that will allow them to be launched from the bridge. We can most likley reverse engineer a control chair.Unsigned comment by 96.28.0.153 (talk • contribs).
I doubt the IOA would allow atlantis to leave earth now that it's there. As for the drones they are probably still in Antarctica and I'm sure they can just connect the interface for Atlantis's control chair to work for both the Earth outpost and Atlantis itself. The outpost did once have Atlantis on it.~Super Novice-Talk to Me~ 21:09, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
They wont be able to make their own control chair but they could possibly just create a program like McKay did on "The Tower" or use a puddle jumper's control system. Or mabye if atlantis leaves for pegasus then it can just fire it's drones through the stargate and up through the mountain's gate shaft, or take control of the antarctic drones wirelessly through the stargate using their chair? Maybe they could salvage a control chair from an Ori warship--99.152.246.38 22:01, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

I reckon the ZPM was drained because Ayiana was in Stasis for so long and when the energy ran out she was revived and tried to make her way to the Stargate and was frozen on the way --Escyos (talk) (Contribs) 08:28, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
