Stargate SG-1: An Eye for an Eye is an audiobook by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Sally Malcolm and is a sequel to Stargate SG-1: Half Life.

Authors Notes

Sitting down to brainstorm plot ideas with the other writers of this amazing series is probably the most fun you can have in the basement of a London hotel! I was thrilled to be involved, and right from the start I knew it was going to be fantastic.

I was especially pleased to be given this particular story. I love writing Ba'al, he is my favourite Goa'uld bad guy, but there's something of a twist in this take which made it even more interesting. Without giving too much away, An Eye for an Eye looks at Ba'al from a very unique perspective.

Getting to write Vala Mal Doran was another treat; I absolute love writing Vala and Daniel together. They're a hilarious double act, and the two characters bounce off each other so naturally that it's really easy to find their voices; listening to the performance by Michael Shanks and Claudia Black gave me goosebumps!

The ending proved the biggest challenge. An Eye for an Eye is the middle story in a three-part arc, which meant I had to find a strong ending while leaving the arc open for the big finale to come. And the final is huge...!
