Stargate: Timekeepers is a tactical video game for the PC. The game is being developed by CreativeForge Games and is published by Slitherine & Matrix Games. The game will be divided into two parts, with each segment containing seven episodes. Part 1 was released on January 23, 2024 and part 2 was released on October 23, 2024.

Summary

"Stargate: Timekeepers departs from the end of season 7 of the Stargate SG-1 main plot to create a wholly original story starting during the Battle of Antarctica, where Commander Eva McCain and her team are tasked with supporting SG-1 against Anubis’s fleet. The aftermath of the battle sees Commander McCain and her squad face an epic adventure that spans multiple original locations."

While Stargate: Timekeepers is claimed to accommodate 6 main characters, the player will not have to control more than 3 of them at any given time. The crew can be selected before the mission starts, but there will reportedly be mandatory and optional characters for some missions. Additional members are subject to joining the SGC core as the game progresses.

Each team member has their pros, cons and unique quirks, specializing in different fields. All playable characters have been assigned a distinct colour, which makes it easier for the player to identify them.

Missions

It has been confirmed that Stargate: Timekeepers will give place to 14 different levels, all of which are expected to take an experienced player more than an hour to complete, summing up to 16 hours of core gameplay.

As the player progresses through the game, they will discover the existence of a device called the Time loop (hence the title "Timekeepers"). The Time loop allows them to return to previously visited missions and locations to replay them under other circumstances. The use of this device will be crucial to the successful completion of the game.

1. Battle of Antarctica: Eva McCain is tasked with supporting SG-1 during the Battle of Antarctica.
2. The Resistance: McCain is escorting a convoy designated for Jaffa rebels on Hak'tyl as she encounters resistance.
3. In Plain Sight: Max Bolton and Sam Watson are tasked with stopping High Priestess S'virda from conducting a Ceremony of Fire on Hak'tyl.

• The game originally planned to release its first part on December 12, 2023, but was delayed due to a bug that prevented players from progressing and impacted episodes 5 and 6.
