These vessels were composed of a large number of Replicator blocks which resembled a large giant mechanical seven legged spider. They were capable of being created by a swarm of smaller Replicators after which the vessel was able to rise from the planet and enter hyperspace. The capabilities of this craft are unknown and it's not known whether they possess any form of weaponry. (SG1: "New Order, Part 2", "Reckoning, Part 2")
The first known sighting of the vessel was on the new Asgard homeworld of Orilla when the Replicator disruptor was being used against the mechanical race. A large number of Replicators came together where they assembled the spider ship and took off from the planet in order to escape the Replicator disruptor weapon, although many of their kin were killed as they had to be left behind. (SG1: "New Order, Part 2")
Several of these vessels were sighted during the Battle of Dakara after being deployed by Replicator Carter, who sent the vessels directly to Dakara in order to prevent SG-1 from activating the Dakara superweapon. A spider craft managed to land on the planet without any opposition where it disgorged a swarm of Replicator spiders which attempted to defeat the Jaffa Rebellion defenders and Earth Humans that were protecting the installation. However, it was too late as the weapon was activated which destroyed all the Replicators and included the Spider ship. (SG1: "Reckoning, Part 2")

Some issues of The DVD Collection magazine are known to contain errors with respect to the dimensions they provide for spaceships. Dimensions for the same class of ship may vary between issues. The dimensions given in an issue may contradict how the ship visually appears on screen. The dimensions of two ships which appear similarly sized on screen may be given different measurements in The DVD Collection magazines. However, as the DVD Collection Magazines are officially licensed by MGM (and thus considered canon) Stargate Wiki includes them, while noting the apparent discrepancies in instances where they occur. See policy and List of spaceships by size for more information.
