Smoke grenade

Smoke grenades are canister-type grenades that emit a large amount of smoke which is often colored. They are used to create smoke screens and signal other friendly troops.

History[]

Major John Sheppard used two smoke grenades to hide his location from a Genii patrol when the Genii invaded Atlantis. (SGA: "The Eye")

While searching for the Goa'uld Korra on PJ6-877 Colonel O'Neill threw one smoke grenade in the cave where Korra hid, which forced him to come out. (SG1: "Deadman Switch")
