2004

Upon arriving in Atlantis and discovering that they were running out of power, Smitty was one of the people who went to Athos looking for a power source or safe harbor. (SGA: "Rising")

2005

When Dr. Peterson, after coming into contact with the Ancient nanovirus, transported into the Mess hall and affected those there, Smitty was among them. He was later cured by an EMP caused by an exploding Naquadah Reactor over the planet. (SGA: "Hot Zone")
