"While raising the ship back up, I came across a beginner's piloting lesson program. Enjoy!"
Dr. Rodney McKay[src]

Ship interface goggles were a type of interface technology that was used as a way for people to have the ability to practice and have lessons in how to fly Asgard ships while in a controlled virtual reality simulation.[1]

The beginner's piloting lesson program included three lessons of varying difficulty. The first simulation is basic flight and moment in space, which used Asgard control stones. The intermediate simulation was bringing the vessel into orbit over a planet. The advanced simulation was defensive maneuvers while against overwhelming Replicator ships.[1] (RPG: "Perfidy")

History[]

In 2003, while Dr. Rodney McKay had recovered Frode's downed science vessel on P2X-649, he came across the beginner's piloting lesson program and left a sticky note about it on the ship's flight controls.[1] (RPG: "Perfidy")
